Billing policies

Benefactor Intelligence sells software and research services delivered entirely online. All prices are in US dollars.

• Dispatch, $299 per month. Monitoring for up to 50 prospects, with a weekly digest.
• Dispatch, $399 per month. Monitoring for up to 100 prospects, with a weekly digest and 4 Briefs each month.
• Brief, $99 one time. A research dossier on one named subject, delivered as a PDF inside the application.

We sell no physical goods and ship nothing, so no return policy applies. There are no legal or export restrictions on what we sell.

Subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, on the date the subscription starts. They renew automatically each month until cancelled. A Brief bought on its own is a single charge at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. Receipts, invoices, failed-payment notices, and card-expiry reminders are sent by Stripe to the billing email on the account.

Payment by purchase order and invoice is available on request. Write to support@benefactorintelligence.com before subscribing.

Subscriptions are month to month. You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your account, which opens the Stripe customer portal.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Monitoring continues until then and stops at the period end. Partial months are not refunded.

After a subscription ends you keep read access to the alerts, events, and Briefs already generated for your organization. We do not lock you out of work you have paid for.

Subscription charges, including partial months, are non-refundable. Cancelling stops the next charge rather than reversing the last one.

Briefs are non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with a Brief, contact support@benefactorintelligence.com and we will work with you to make it right, which may include regenerating the Brief at no charge. Any refund is issued at our discretion, to the original payment method.

Where a refund is issued, it goes to the card or account originally charged, through Stripe. Your bank normally posts it within five to ten business days.

An organization receives one Brief credit at no charge when it qualifies in either of two ways:

• The claiming account uses a work email address: a domain that is not a free consumer email service or a disposable-address service. One work-email credit per email domain, across all organizations.
• A valid payment card is on file. The card is stored by Stripe. Adding it charges you nothing.

The terms in both cases are:

• One credit per organization, whichever way it is claimed.
• The credit does not expire.
• The credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We may withdraw the offer at any time. Credits already granted are honored after it ends.
